What is the Lazarus Metaverse?

The Lazarus Metaverse is a virtual 3D car showroom where you can explore vehicles, chat to an AI sales agent, customise models, and even purchase a real car.

Do I need to create an account?

Yes. You must create a free UBU account before entering. The sign-up is quick and lets you fully explore the metaverse and interact with Laz, the AI sales agent. You can use your google or email to sign-up an account.

Do I need a VR headset?

No - the Lazarus Metaverse works on both desktop and mobile browsers, however you can also access via a VR headset.

Which car brands are available?

Currently MG and Jetour showrooms are live, with more brands coming soon.

Can I explore the inside of the cars?

Yes, you can view 360° interiors by selecting the “View Interior” button next to the vehicle on display.

Can I buy a real car in the metaverse?

Yes. All purchases are real and fulfilled by the Lazarus Motor Company in Centurion. Your new car can be collected or delivered to your home.

What payment options are supported?

Cash, traditional financing, and cryptocurrency. You can purchase using any cryptocurrency that is on the EVM eg. ETH, POL, USDC, USDT, UBU and many others.
If you have Bitcoin you will need to swap into any EVM token on an exchange to be able to make a purchase.

What is UBU?

UBU is the utility token used inside the Lazarus Metaverse for crypto purchases and rewards.

Can I convert my existing crypto into UBU?

Under certain conditions a deal can be cancelled after payment is received, but in those cases the customer will be refunded the value of the vehicle in Rands, not what was paid over in Crypto.
